Colleen + Jack : Engaged!
March 2, 2010Early December was FREEZING. Jack knew that he couldn’t convince beautiful Colleen to go outside for any length of time! So he focused on the indoors for his proposal. They were leaving to go see her parents for an early Christmas. Jack did not want to send her there without a ring, (especially since he had been in contact with Colleen’s dad about asking for her hand in marriage ) – she knew nothing was up.
Colleen came home from work and planned they would be lighting the Christmas tree that evening. When she walked in the house none of the lights were on downstairs (which she thought was kind of weird since she had seen his car in the driveway.) She yelled, “hello?” Leading up the stairs there was a trail of rose petals, she followed. They went all the way up the stairs and down the hallway to their bedroom. Jack was waiting in the bedroom with rose petals everywhere, candles everywhere, a bottle of champagne, and a beautiful bouquet of flowers. He said some lovely and romantic things, and then he got down on his knee and asked her to marry him. Colleen, said yes. They hugged and kissed and jumped around saying “we’re getting married!!”
Jack is endearing, sweet, and funny…Colleen is intelligent and witty, first-class, and warm. They are such beautiful people… both inside and out. They love each other so incredibly much…being around them made me go home and snuggle it up with my Love. I am incredibly stoked and excited to photograph their wedding this summer!

about Jack’s blue eyes in these images. I swear to you, I used the same process I always use - they are this amazing!
